To build Hilla, I needed Hilla.
A note from the founder
I started building Hilla because every project I shipped died the same way. The idea was clear. The plan was a mess. By the time I had a Notion doc, a Linear board, a folder of Figma files, and ten tabs open, the momentum was gone.
So I built the thing I wanted: one canvas where the whole project lives. Plan, build, track, ship, all on the same surface. No tab sprawl. No tool stitching. No three-hour planning sessions before the first task gets written.
Hilla is built solo, bootstrapped, in public. The roadmap is on the changelog. The bugs ship in the open. The next feature is whatever's most broken about my own workflow.
If that sounds like a tool you'd want, you're probably the person I'm building it for.
